Frusterated Druid is frusterated...

In the spirit of Charlie Brown I must say... ARRG!!!!

My guild and I threw ourselves at Professor Putricide fifteen times. We were so close... so close to beating him. We had a "0%" wipe. The bugger had 10,000 health and due to the tank dying, he regained his health and we all died. *sighs* So frustrating! Tonight we may be doing a 25-player ICC, if we can get enough people. Or, if not, we may go back to the Professor for some payback.

On a side note, we may have killed Putricide last night if it wasn't for a known issue that caused one of our Priest healer's abilities to be canceled. :(

Me likey the cakey!

Yay!

Today was a wonderful surprise. Earlier my Guild had done a wonderful Ice Crown Citadel run. It was the start of a very nice day. ;) We had smoothly downed all the bosses up to Professor Putricide, then called it a night. I'm 1000 reputation away from my Ashen Verdict exalted ring (Yay!) and got two very nice pieces of loot. First was my offspec trinket, then I got some seriously sweet pants that might be worth breaking my T9 4-piece set bonus for.

Later in the afternoon, Fox and Andrew treated me out to Red Lobster for an early birthday dinner. ^^ Yes... I was born 32 years ago today (as of 12:00am EST ^^) They surprised me once again by getting me a gorgeous cake.

Eek, I'm about to be late for tonights raid. We're going to be trying to down Professor Putricide. Please wish me luck and take care! *hugs*

Oy vey...

Well, I had an interesting evening.

I've discovered that I am allergic to Niacin supplements. While Andrew (known as Deathpaw/Daelyhel) was making dinner, I was feeling very run down due to a very nasty cold. I took a Niacin pill, which was known as an energy booster, and about an hour later I swelled up like a balloon and my skin was beet red. Sadly, this was during our Family Time (playing worms 2). I felt like my skin was burning and it was horribly painful. Panicking I ran into the bath and sat in a cold tub. It provided some relief, then I saw my face... I looked like a bulldog. >.<

Andrew and Fox came in to see how I was doing, horribly worried of course. Since the bath didn't help, I decided to lay down. I fell asleep and an hour later Fox and Andrew came to lay down with me.

I woke up about 6am. Skin still irritated, but not nearly as bad as last night. Lesson learned... Read the warnings on the side of supplement bottles before taking them! *sighs* And I wanted to play WoW last night. >.<

So I decided to make a blog...

*grins*
Well, let me start by introducing myself. My online name is Liavain, and I play World of Warcraft. I've been playing WoW since it came out. I started as a Night Elf Hunter, but due to some guild drama I ended up going Horde. I switched to a Tauren Shaman and named her Farahawnee. I must say, I loved my character. I played her for four years and grew quite attached to her. I ended up raiding with her as an Elemental, and loved the "Pew Pew!", but at one point my guild needed a healer and I went Restoration.

After hearing the upcoming changes they were planning for the Horde, lore wise, I decided to give a big "F-YOU!" to Garrosh Hellscream and switch to alliance. My heart will always be with the Horde, but to be honest I am looking forward to the Worgen. Yes, I admit, I'm a Furry! *laughs*

I joined an Alliance guild named "We Raid in Greys". I really do love my guild. My guild has had a lot of ups and downs, but I'm a loyal person to a fault and will stick by my guild. I ended up changing from Shaman to Druid. It was a bit of a change. Especially in healing and dps. I always loved playing my druid as a Feral, but in the interests of keeping the gear simple, I went "Boomchicken".

My guild is a lot of fun. We raid on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights at 11:30pm server. Since I live in Virginia, that ends up being after midnight. >.< There are some frustrating moments, to be sure, but it's worth it. We are currently working on Icecrown Citadel. Since we are a casual guild, we are more relaxed when it comes to certain aspects. Many of us came from a hardcore raider background. Our raid leader, in the interests of helping us progress, has begun to be more selective on who we take with us to ICC. That has caused problems internally, but I see it as a benefit to us in the long run. It's not fair to everyone to be stuck progressing because of a few people who may not be up to the task at hand.

I'll try to keep my blog updated on things such as progress, notes about my class, and even some personal notes. I don't know who may be interested in reading my ramblings, but eh, I need a place to vent. :P

Thanks for reading!
